About Reunion Lane

Reunion Lane is Alison and David Fenner with Simon Diegan, an experienced acoustic group whose performances at FESTIVALS such as Towersey, FOLK CLUBS and FOLK SHOWS are always well received.

Their music includes English and American folk songs, spirituals and reworked popular songs, as well as a dash of humour.

Alison Fenner: vocals and duet concertina

Alison FennerAlison was an original member of Bread and Roses, playing many of the UKs biggest festivals, folk clubs and recording 2 LPs. She and David have performed as a duo for many years and recently worked with Fran Wade and Kevin Bown in the group Commonground, which performed at many venues including Broadstairs and Whitby festivals and the Millrace festival in Canada. She has a distinctive alto voice and plays the duet concertina.

David Fenner: vocals, guitar, mandola

David FennerFrom the early days in folk clubs, David was quickly recruited to play guitar, banjo and mandola in an Irish trio, King Gippos . He was then involved in two productions with Steve Heap and continued to play clubs and festivals with Alison. As a duo with keyboardist, Andy Lavery he played many southern clubs including The Ram, Uxbridge and Bracknell. His connection with the Stroud duo led to Commonground, who performed at festivals and ran harmony workshops.

Simon Diegan: vocals, melodeon, bass, ukulele

Simon DieganSimon is a singer, musician, caller and MC who has a lifelong love of traditional music and dance having been involved in the folk arena since his school days and has played melodeon and called with a variety of ceilidh bands over the years, particularly Wiltshire Reunion. Simon is a regular MC at both Sidmouth  and Towersey festivals and also plays in the Oxfordshire based electric folk band Celtic Heartbeat.
